famous ladies...
So my sis and I are in a magazine this month and its no big thing.

Its just a little magazine called Home and Away, the AAA magazine.
My dad responded via email to a story in the last issue about the decline of visitors to National Parks, saying he had taken me and Liz to many parks and we loved every minute of the trips.

OMG!!! Its actually going to happen
Oh! Yes, this could be our new house!!!

We need to get it inspected this week and then we can move in after signing the paperwork. Tony and I have now been seaching for almost a full year with no sign of a house on our horizon. We put down 5+ offers and most were forclosures, with 10 offers to compete with for each house. We were also looking in an area thick with investors taking over houses for flipping not giving us first time homebuyers one bit of a chance. We finally moved our search to a lesser known neighborhood, named Sunnyside, which is supposedly the next up-and-coming neighborhood in Denver. A good investment for us for the future, if this is true.
How many times am I going to ask you to keep your fingers crossed?
Well, I am asking again...

3 months and counting (tick tock, tick tock)
So here is an update since there is so little time until the wedding, 90 days to be exact (aaahhhhh!!!)...
CEREMONY/RECEPTION CITE - deposit paid and tons of contact with the coordinator has been done via email
INVITES - printed, stamped, addressed, stuffed, and ready to go to you
DRESS - ready to pick up on July 16th
CATERER - petered out on me just before signing the contract so I am on to my back
up caterer. AAARRRGGGHHH!!! :( :( :(
FLORIST - oh Costco will be my flower people and I will make the bouquets myself
DECORATIONS - in the process of being assembled by MOI
BEER & WINE - ready to be purchased in bulk
CUPCAKES - decisions need to be made for the flavors
TONY'S SUIT - fits...like a glove! he now needs a tie, shirt and shoes, and he ain't cheap
BRIDAL SHOWERS - these are in the planning process by 2 aunts and a bridesmaid/best friend. Luckily I just have to show up to those!!
Oh I still have a ton of work to do, as you can see. And since I am living in one teeny little bedroom with my fiance and our cat, I have no room to do anything wedding related. Luckily for my BFF, she has loaned me her spare bedroom to be the BARRETT/RODRIGUEZ Wedding Headquarters. I already have a few boxes, but she is just going to have to wait to see what I have in store for her (insert evil laugh here)!!!
I am sure there will be more postings and updates as the 90 days progresses...

fingers crossed, lucky charms, rabbit's feet...
Yesterday, I found out that Frontier Airlines, my airline, had mailed out announcements to the bottom 100 flight attendants stating layoffs beginning September 1st! I am number 270 from the bottom of the seniority, which means I am safe for now, but who knows what the future holds.
In this time in my life of buying a new car, attempting to purchase a house, and planning a wedding in 3 months and 2 days, I am a bit stressed about getting laid off! As you can imagine.
Please, oh, please, keep your fingers crossed or pray or hope or whatever, that Frontier can pull through this and let me keep my job. Really, I would rather be purchased by Jet Blue or Virgin America, than the company go kaputs. If ever Southwest were to buy us I would quit rather than work for them!!!
Thanks for the well wishes...
