movies galore...

Anytime I go to visit my mother, all we do is craft and watch movies. I went to SD for 6 days, and in that time we watched about 8 movies and spent 2 days at a craft fair, hardly selling a thing. We tried selling zipper purses, felted wool bags, mom's photographs and a couple other random things.

While we were crafting, we watched the movies and we saw some really amazing ones...

I think I'm in LOVE!! I am surely adding Steve McQueen to my favorite list.

A raisin in the sun and the women were such fantastic movies. The women is fun and clever and maybe not such a dude kinda movie, but a raisin in the sun is a story everyone should see. It was so wonderful!

i love to craft...
i love to movie...
holy bajoley, i sure do!!

wedding dresses...

I have been paitently waiting for 4 months now to get a certain phone call and yesterday I got it. I have been awaiting a call from the boutique where I bought my WEDDING dress!!! It is ready for me to pick up, but sadly I can't go until Tuesday because I back from on Monday night and the shop is all the way in Boulder! I truely can't wait to try it on with all my accessories to see how it looks. I have to admit I got a few butterflies when she called, almost nervous because it is actually happening, but so freaking excited!

The wedding is still 5 and 1/2 months away and I sure have plenty to do...

guess I should get to it, huh??

to new beginnings...

Oh my GOD! Talk about stress. Wedding planning, trying to buy a house, apt. lease ending, cars breaking down, Tony quitting his job, and then moving in with his dad to save money.

These events didn't really happen in that order, but kinda. Tony and I have been trying to buy house for the past 6+ months and it hasn't quite happened yet. Our lease ended before we had a back up place to live, so we decided to move into his pop's house for a couple months to save more money and keep looking for a house. In the mean time our wedding planning is sailing along. I took my car to the shop the other day and it needs 3500 bucks worth of repair when its only worth 1200 TOPS!!! And to top it off Tony quit his job, which has been long over-due.

I think I am done being stressed. Well, I guess after I sell my car and get a better one, then I will be done.

I am rather sad to be leaving our apt. It was our first home together and we are now cramped in one bedroom for the next couple of months with the rest of our belongings in boxes in the garage.

So here's to no rent, crappy cars, and to NEW BEGINNINGS!!!

6 months and counting...

Oh! Yes, only 6 months until the wedding (well yesterday, anyhoo). I am not freaking out yet. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is the stupid caterer! Hopefully next week I will have a signed contract.

I forgot to mention that I am also in the process of moving into Tony's dad's house for a couple months to save a bit more money for a house. If we don't get a house before the wedding I will really freak out. That's what I am most stressed out about right now!

I already have the baker, photographer, venue, music (thank you itunes), dress (if it ever gets here), suit for Tony, invites and other paper items (sorry kirsten, I mean thanks!!) and more.

What if we don't have a real place to live by the time I will be getting the reply cards back? Or even gifts? What to do?

Yeah I just want a place of our own, to have as long as we want, with no ending lease in sight... Is that too much to ask?!?!?
