neues Auto für mich!!!

Do you understand the title? Yeah, I didn't think so. Ok it says NEW CAR FOR ME!!! A Jetta to be exact. (That's the reasoning for the german title. Get it?)

If you remember the blog a while back, about the car troubles I had been having, then you will understand the importance of a new car. I did sell the car for $1,000, thank goodness, and a few weeks later we purchased a Jetta. It is our car, but it is mine to drive on a daily basis.

Oh boy is it fancy! Teal in color (sounds gross, but is lovely), power everything, sunroof, fancy flip-out-key thingy, rain sensing windshield wipers. Jealous? I know, you can say it.

sexy pics coming soon...

p.s. Jetta gets to go on her first road trip to YELLOWSTONE for my b-day with Matt and Carly and of course Tony, too!!!

I am jumping on board...

...jumping on board the bandwagon! Yes, I bought/read/loved Twilight, along with the other millions of people in this country. I have almost finished and its only been 4 days. I am ready to read the New Moon and Eclipse in the very near future. And then, of course, the fourth.

I had just purchased the book in the Minneapolis airport, when a girl walked up to me and told me if I didn't like the book I was CRAZY! My sis told me pretty much the same thing. I guess I am not crazy.

If you haven't heard about this book, then you don't know its about a teenage gal who falls in love with a vampire. Sound stupid? I sure thought so. But once you read it, you won't think so.

"About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him - and i didn't know how dominant that part might be -that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him."
- Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer

READ IT, if you aren't crazy!!!!

oh how I crave thee...

Have you seen the movie Chocolat? It from 2000 and it stars Juliette Binoche, Judi Dench and Johnny Depp and it is a great movie.

I love watching movies that make me believe in good deeds, magic and hope. I also love movies with characters who are a bit off and unlike the rest of the cast.

I remember going to see Chocolat in the theaters with my whole family. Afterwards we searched everywhere to find a restaurant that had some kind of chocolate dessert to end the cravings brought on by the movie. How can one movie make my mouth water so profusely?

Could Johnny Depp be any cooler? Even as "river rat", he exudes style and smoothness (word?).

I just have to watch this movie every time it is on, and that's a lot lately on Encore!

I will leave your mouth watering...

HEHEHEHEHEHE!!

10-4 good buddy!!!

OK so I am one day delayed, but it is now 4 months until the wedding day!!! YIKES! I feel like I am totally prepared, and then i remember that I am doing SOOOOOOOOO much on my own and I feel a little sick in my tummy.

I went to another dress fitting yesterday and it is looking really great. I wore my new shoes (the third pair) and finally looked great.

My sister's bridesmaid dress came in and I picked it up. Carly's (another bridesmaid) dress will be in very soon. (Lizzy is on the left and Carly, the right). Their dresses will both be in black, just to let you know.

I still have my caterer and florist to deal with, but hopefully it will be done soon. I also need to make the tablecloths, oragami flowers, cupcakes stands and probably more crap, too.

Oh I think I need to get to work pretty soon!

p.s. As for the title of this post, I realized the date of our wedding is 10-4, good buddy!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!

Colorado History Museum...

Ahhh... The Colorado History Museum. The future site of our wedding. We finally looked at the entire museum today, not just the reception area. It is beautiful, with amazing photos of Colorado junk and dioramas as far as the eye can see!

Here are the stairs to come down to the bar area, where the bookshelves are now...

Here is the actual reception area (please excuse the blurries, you know, no flash photography)...

Oh, this photo has nothing to do with the wedding whatsoever, but it is such a great display, about 25 meters long. Talk about history...
